What can I say but WOW. Delivery of the product was prompt. With the original buttons on my Toyota Camry 1998 Grande I had to stand beside the car & really push the button hard & sometimes several times. When I was standing at the centre of the cars boot, the button would not operate & I had to move to the side to get it to work. The new buttons were dead easy to change (approx 5 minutes for two) & now, with the replacement button, the remote operates from about 6-10 metres away & easily from the back of the car. The feel of the button is 1000% better than the original & has a better ergonomic design, being flatter & cleaner. At a total cost of $20 odd for two buttons delivered, I have saved many $$$$$s. Mere words cannot express enough my satisfaction with the service & fabulous new buttons. (January-2010)

Hello there Thankyou for the quick supply of what looks like a great product. I have replaced the buttons on one of my Holden commodore keys and the biggest problem I had was removing the old buttons. Unfortunately they were in one piece and glued, requiring me to prose open the key, pull the old rubber out and then glue the key back together. Your buttons however were extremely easy to put in once the old ones were out of the way. Worked a charm – thanks for the much less expensive alternative to buying a new key. I had three I needed to fix!!!!!!!!! I am so glad I stumbled across a forum on the subject and a customer of yours was recommending the product. (February-2010)

I just received my new rubber buttons for my Commodore Key. Excellent product and very quick delivery. I ordered on Wednesday morning and they arrived here in Tamworth, NSW Monday morning. It was a bit fiddly cleaning up the old, perished rubber but once this was done fitting of the new buttons only took a few seconds. I have received the falcon remote control pad. Many thanks. Your service, promptness, communication and delivery was excellent and I am very pleased with the pad supplied. It seems to be of high quality and fitted the Ford casing etc precisely. I make the above comments regardless of the fact that I did not have total success. It was my Lock button that wasn't working and unfortunately when I opened the remote the lock switch was totally adrift from it soldered connections. So I'm not much better off with still only having 3 of the 4 buttons working other than these 3 buttons will now have a greatly extended life especially the Open button which, by inspection, was getting gummed up with the crap Ford rubber and would have been the next to fail. In hind sight it is a pity I didn't open up the remote before the pad purchase but I have no regrets and will gain some benefit for not much cost. Maybe a note to others - do the pad upgrade at the first signs of button misbehaviour and don't flog it until it is totally stuffed. Many thanks for your innovative product. (June 2013)

Just received the silicone replacement buttons for my Peugeot 206 key. It was easy to install and the key now works as it did when the car was new. Hi, My name is Maurice I order my repair kit for hyundai i30 on the 18-08-2015 from the gold coast (QLD ) and received on the 21-08-2015. It took me 5 minutes to remove the old part and clean the shell and 10 secondes to fit the new part. Too easy. Dear Polmex, What a fantastic product! From faulty remote to ‘as good as new’ in minutes! My Hyundai car remote had a tear on the rubber button. It slowly got worse and then recently the internal button fell off meaning I couldn’t use it any more. I dreaded having to replace the entire remote control. I visited a key specialist at a shopping centre as their website said they could simply replace the shell of the controller at a fraction of the cost. One of my two car keys fell to bits and I approached Polmex re new parts. In no time I had both the part and fitting instructions. When I received the repair piece I found it very difficult to follow the instructions. This was because of timidity. I have large hands and a history of breaking small things when I work with them. However, I persevered and finally satisfactorily repaired my key. Within a week my second key had broken the same way but this time, full of confidence with the new part I repaired this one within a few minutes. I cannot speak highly enough about my satisfaction in this case where I was saved hundreds of dollars considering the quote I had from Land Rover where I was told that I needed to replace the keys. I have shown the repair jobs to two friends who have similar vehicles and they both took down the details of Polmex. (February-2010)

Hi, I'd like to give you another recommendation for your feedback page. My Series II Disco key had not only had the rubber for the unlock button wear out and break away, but the surface mount micro-switch had been dislodged from the circuit board. A Melbourne Land Rover dealer wanted $300+ for a new key, and to program my Disco to recognise it. I was able to re-solder the switch to the circuit board, and replace the rubber buttons with your 1LDPad buttons saving over $270! (February-2010)

Dear Polmex Staff, Thank you for your prompt dispatch of my remote replacement buttons, they arrived the day after order. I have a 2006 Camry, and although it was difficult to remove the old rubber buttons, which involved cutting and pushing the left over rubber back inside a little, the new buttons fitted perfectly and the remote now is better than new. I would advise people to be careful in cutting out the old rubber on this model as there is a capacitor and circuit chip that can be scratched in the cutting process, and you cannot see them until the rubber is removed. Otherwise a painless exercise, good value and great product from this Perth company. (May-2010)

Apart from a slight hassle with extracting all the little bits of the old broken buttons, which were very perished, the rest is easy as pie and saved me a fortune. I was very pleased to realise that you don't have to open the remote to make the change (you just push buttons in from the outside). The two sides of the remote are fastened strongly and the plastic is a brittle - thought they might break if I had to forced them open. Might be worth mentioning this on your website. (May-2012)

I only received one car key with one broken button. After three days the second button also broke. By then I had to make a research for solving this problem. A new key is possible to buy (for Rover this is not certain, since they closed down six years ago), but it costs ten times as much as your product. At $400+ for a new key, when the close button on our Hilux key wore out we did not replace it and simply used the spare. That recently died and we were reconciled to manual locking and unlocking rather than paying the exorbitant Toyota charge.
Then we discovered Polmex and $17.50 later we are all smiles. So easy was the fix that we will also repair the worn spare key.
The web site is easy to navigate and service and delivery timeframe were first class. All that is missing is for PayPal to recognise that some people rely on Post Office boxes for mail delivery and it would be a perfect score for Polmex. (Dec 2012)

When the soft pads on the keys for our Barina perished the Holden dealers could only offer replacement keys for $400.00 each. I searched locksmiths as well as on the net to no avail until I found your name . After Goggling your name , up came your website with the extensive range of silicone pads available at amazing prices. There was no difficulty in selecting the correct pad and I placed an order on the Friday. An extremely prompt reply advised that my order was processed and the pads had been posted airmail. They arrived in Brisbane on the Monday. The replacement instructions were explicit and when followed made the job extremely simple. I wish to compliment you on your prompt processing and sales service which rates along with the best I have ever experienced. I will be contacting the locksmiths who were unable to assist me previously to give them your details so that they can help their clients. Hello, Just some feedback on your Silicone Replacement Buttons. I have recently purchased sets for my daughter's Peugeot 307 and father's Ford AU. The service has been exceptional with almost immediate email notification and posted within 24hours - delivery 2-3 days. Comprehensive instructions made replacing the buttons a matter of a few minutes and they are working fine. My 85 year old father was particularly impressed after already paying for a number of replacement remotes (at a cost of $80 each) to now find his problems solved at such a reasonable price! I have to say that I was more than satisfied with the replacement flexible button cover I received for my Nissan Patrol, I refused to pay Nissan for a new key fob at the price they were asking . I have sent for another one from you after the excellent service I had from your company. I have sent my thoughts to Nissan and not surprising no answer back, I did not mention your company by name but let it be known to Nissan that it had taken forty eight hours to have a replacement button cover in my post box and a company of the size of Nissan could not supply a replacement part. I for one will and have already spread the word to another Patrol owner of the service I have had from you, as soon as I send him the address an order will follow. Just fitted the replacement buttons for my 2003 L322 Range Rover. Excellent, as new, result. Neatly and cheaply bypassing the Stealers. Your How To guide was exemplary and yes the Pozidrive vs Philips is important to do an easy job. Something you might like to add in any revision is that in my case the code chip just fell out, so watch out for that possibility! (November-2015)

Thank you – I am very happy with the replacement key pads for my i30. I am happy to supply a comment for the feedback section of your website, as follows: I highly recommend Polmex. The rubber buttons on my key fob for my Hyundai i30 had perished, and when I contacted the dealer, they quoted well over $300 for a single replacement key. A bit of online investigation led me to Polmex. Ordering was simple – I received a follow up email from them informing me of dispatch, and delivery took only a few days. Using the instruction sheet which was included, changing the key pad took just a couple of minutes. I recommend cleaning out the edge grove using a toothpick to get any remaining small bits of rubber out, allowing the new keypad to seat properly. The new keypad works like a dream. So not only have I saved a large amount of money – but best of all, because the keypads from Polmex are silicone, they won’t perish like the original Hyundai version. (August 2016)

Hi,I received the two TX11 shells in the mail today together with the instruction sheet you provided. I was pleasantly surprised with how robust the silicone shells are – quite sturdy (including the bit for the key ring) and not flimsy at all. The electronic board fit perfectly in the shell and the lid was easy to fit and formed a tight seal. I like the fact that the silicone case will provide some extra protection if the keys are dropped as it will absorb the impact, and changing the battery will be a much simpler task than before…no tiny screws to remove and potentially lose. So congratulations on the Sandgroper ingenuity in designing and manufacturing a great product at a very sharp price, definitely excellent value for the money. (September 2016)
